Google to launch Adsense for Mobile Apps

What is Google Adsense Mobile Apps you might ask?

Well its basically Google AdSense on your mobile apps. Simple as that!

Or if you want the official Google statement, “AdSense for Mobile Applications allows developers to earn revenue by displaying text and image ads in their iPhone and Android applications. We want to contribute to the growth of these mobile applications, which is why we’re happy to announce our beta launch of AdSense for Mobile Applications. We’re excited to open up this beta to more developers, and look forward to offering new features for our mobile advertisers and publishers in upcoming releases.”

The Adsense for Mobile Apps current gripe is that only high end phones will be able to utilize this, such as Android and IPhone.

It is still in Beta, and is currently accepting applications for Beta testing from app developers only, none for marketers yet.

If you are an app developer you can head over to http://www.google.com/ads/mobileapps/ and apply for the Beta program.

Well another means of making money if you’re an apps developer. If you’re not, then you can outsource the work.

As for me, I need to learn apps making applications pronto! I’ve wanted to do this for the longest time, maybe this will push me into doing so.
