Well after adopting the waiting and seeing attitude, I finally upgrade ALL of my blogs.

Oh boy that was sure a lot of work!

I reckon such an upgrade for me is every six months only, for major updating.

It can be a pain in the ass if you’ve as many blogs as me!

Before the upgrade, I researched and tested the new WordPress on a dummy server.

I’m very impressed at its speed and it seems lesser bloated now. Well done WordPress.

Also most if not all of my plugins are compatible with the new version.

I only had one problem when upgrading on one of my sites. The redirection plugin seem to go haywire, but I fixed it by temporarily disabling the folder, and turning it back on after the upgrade.

Theme wise, I notice, not much changes, except for the below:
