Lesser people taking up ‘Paid Reviews’ opportunities

I was over at ProBlogger and Darren posted a recent poll on the topic of “Have you written a paid review on your blog”.

Well the consensus out of the 1771 polled says 77% never doing it, and 23% have done so, with varying frequency.

Darren also asked the same poll back in 2007, where 34% says his readers have done such paid reviews.

Hmm looks like to me, paid reviews in on the decreasing trend.

I myself did it before, but have quit, as I fret over my blog PageRank and authority being affected if I sell-out.

Albeit lesser people are taking up such paid offers, I personally feel paid reviews will always be around. It’s a quick get fix money if you’re into this line of work.

Although you should have done it few years back, when the monetary gains was much more.

Now for a review being done, you’re paid measly. I was appalled to find out some of the figures that my friends shared who did such paid reviews.
