Manipulate your web server

An interesting WebmasterWorld discussion got my attention.

It’s regarding increasing your AdSense income by manipulating your server.

Well if you have a dedicated box, throttle your server to slow.

This is so as it will result in your readers clicking more on your ads due to being impatient with the page loading time.

Of course I don’t really recommend this, I don’t want to get into trouble nor does this ‘trick’ falls under AdSense Google TOS violations, but it does makes sense.

Server slows down > Traffic build-up > Surfers impatient > Surfers clicks ads > Increase in CTR > More earnings.
